2012 BMW 3-Series Sedan

The new BMW 3-Series sedan has a larger dimensions than the previous model with the wider track (+37/47 mm at front/rear), +50 mm increased length and wheelbase (+50 mm) mean that rear passenger now can enjoy extra legroom and headroom. The new BMW 3-Series sedan arrives in US showrooms in February 2012.
The new BMW 3-Series sedan comes with three of trim and equipment levels; the BMW 3-series Sport Line, Luxury Line and Modern Line. Each level gets its own exterior and interior color palette. And in addition to these new variants, BMW also offer an M Sport package for the new 3-series. And in autumn 2012 the new BMW ActiveHybrid 3, the first hybrid compact sports sedan, will join the BMW 3-Series.
Two engine variants will be offered for the new BMW 3-series. The BMW 328i equipped with a new TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder engine develops 180 kW/245 hp and peak torque of 350 Nm from 1,250 rpm accelerating the BMW 3-series from 0 to 62 mph in just 5.9 seconds with average fuel consumption 44.1 mpg imp. The BMW 335i comes with TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder petrol engine 3.0-litre diplacement develops peak output of 225 kW/306 hp and peak torque of 400 Nm at just 1,200 rpm. Both engine comes standart with a six-speed manual transmission and optionally an eight-speed automatic gearbox also available.
The new BMW 3-Series will soon offers even more variety with the introduction of BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive. The BMW 335i xDrive and BMW 328i xDrive, all-wheel-drive models will go on sale in summer 2012.
