Citroen C1 2012

The new Citroen C1 which will make its debut at the Brussels Motor Show on 10 January 2012 offers an array of new features including CO2 emissions of just 99 g/km, new LED daytime running lights, a CD audio system with Citroen’s Connecting Box and an electronic gearbox system with steering wheel mounted paddles.
Available in both 3-door and 5-door models, the new Citron C1 keeps the compact dimension of 3.44 m long and is powered by a 3-cylinder petrol engine producing 68 bhp. Mated with a manual gearbox the Citroen C1 1.0i boasts improved fuel consumption and emission performance with 4.3 l/100 km over a combined cycle and 99 g/km of CO2. The new C1 also availabe with an electronic gearbox system, the C1 1.0i EGS, consumes 4.5 l/100 km and emits 104 g/km of CO2.

On the exterior, the new Citroen C1 comes with th new front end with a shorter bonnet, redesigned bumper which now houses fog lamps and LED daytime running lights. Also new is special launch color: Botticelli blue in addition of opaque and metallic body colours including Scarlet red, Tritium yellow, Electra blue, Lipizan white, Caldera black and two grey tones; Gallium and Carlinite.
Inside, the new Citroen C1 featuring a cabin with components in the same colours as the body. The leather steering wheel for EGS models has been redesigned while manual gearbox versions get a new-look gearstick handle.
The New CITROËN C1 features new
power steering settings and shock absorbers for more agility and ride comfort at low speeds. The new model is equipped with a range of technologies for safer urban and peri-urban journeys, including ABS, airbags, emergency brake assist, Isofix anchor points, electronic brakeforce distribution and ESP.
