The new Ford Focus Zetec S, developed for UK customers, comes with sporty styling and debut of the 1.6 litre 180 PS EcoBoost petrol engine. Based on the current Zetec model, the Focus Zetec S adds a full sports styling kit including unique front and rear spoiler with lower sill extensions and 17 inches alloy wheels together with sports suspension featuring stiffened springs and dampers, aluminium-style sports pedals, rear LED tail lamps and Ford Power starter button.
The Ford Focus Zetec S is offered in a choice of four engine variants including the 1.6 liter 125 PS Ti-VCT petrol and the 2.0 liter 163 PS TDC1 engine that can be specified with either manual or PowerShift automatic transmission. The 1.6 liter 180 PS EcoBoost turbo-charged petrol engine with a top speed of 138 mph accelerates from 0-62 mph in just 7.9 seconds and emits only 139 g/km. Ford Focus Zetec S chosen with the 1.6 liter Ecoboost or the 1.6 liter 115 PS TDCi engine will carry ECOnetic Technology badge.
The new Ford Focus Zetec S and Titanium prices start at £18,745 on the road, and additional features available for £1,700. Options include the technology-laden Driver Assistance Pack which has received several awards, cruise control with Active Speed Limiter and a Zetec S interior pack featuring Inferno Red partial leather, heated front seats, power driver seat, power rear windows and global closing for £800.00.
The Ford Focus Zetec S is offered now in five-door with estate to follow in February 2012.
